On the morning of 22 October, 15 ladies came together at Novotel Clarke Quay Singapore, to hear more about what Ladies Circle International, and of course Ladies Circle Singapore is all about. Ladies Circle is a club that exists to offer the best opportunity possible for young women to connect, have a great time and give something back to the community. Though the club was established in 1932, it has proven to grow with the times. A core message that was shared at the session, is that we remain proud of our roots, are still part of the Round Table family, but have transformed into a unique, truly independent organisation that welcomes all women aged between 25 and 45.
Of the 15 ladies present, 11 countries were represented from every continent across the globe. This must be international friendship at it’s very best!
When you join the Ladies Circle, you become part of an international community of women who aim to inspire and motivate. Friendship is experienced locally and internationally and it is a remarkable experience sharing a bond with ladies from different parts of the globe, coming from different cultures, and yet sharing one common goal. Circlers endeavor to make a difference to those less fortunate by supporting community projects – both locally and internationally.
It is so encouraging when women inspire other women to be diamonds – and that’s exactly what happened during our session! A heartfelt thank you to the lovely ladies who shared your stories, ideas and enthusiasm. I looking forward to this journey we’re about to embark on together, cheers to many more #LCmoments!
